I've seen you today, with you headphones on
and your hand in hers
(where once was mine)
I still feel you near my heart
but it aches at the though of you,
and how much you hurt
After so long, I write about you
even though time has passedmy heart still wants to write about you
and all those words I didn't say
have come to stay
as I feel you near again,
and you couldn't be more far away
we seem two strangers searching our way
and strangers who should have not met
and truthfully, you still hurt.
