as i went to work today,
i was sitting as the bus was getting full
but my thoughts were somewhere else,
i was reading this finished / unfinished book by Albert Camus called "The First Man"
whilst my peripheral vision caught the figure of a young, twenty something, kind of guy,
i rapidly glance his way and i instantly continue reading.
   
    four stops more and now the bus was a little bit less crowded and guess what? he sat next to me. I didn't give it much thought until suddenly the sit in front of us broke. The person in front of us fell in our laps. I tried to "catch the sit" and he did too. We both smile at each other like maybe thinking "how do things like this happen?"

But honestly in the inside i was glad it happened.



   We were one stop away of getting out of the bus, we got down and we were walking in the same direction so then, (i rarely do this by the way) i said hi, we started talking nonsense and guess againg what? tomorrow afternoon we're having lunch together.

Isn't it weird how life just happens?



    But again,
the last part is just something i wish did actually happen.

    What really did happen?
After we got out of the bus, he went his way and i went mine.

and this is the bittersweet truth about reality vs. expectation.
i just imagined this as that scene on (500) days of summer
